  • Salary: £30,000 – £35,000+ DOE

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Assessor to join our team. This role involves coaching and assessing learners through Level 2 construction qualifications, ensuring high-quality assurance and satisfaction for both learners and employers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of educational and assessment activities, requiring national travel and occasional overnight stays.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Conducting learner inductions, reviews, action planning, observations, and assessments in Level 2 Construction Operations and Level 2 Certificate in Plant Operations.
  • Teaching, guiding, and mentoring learners throughout their qualification, including embedding Maths and English.
  • Completing all relevant documentation and records accurately and timely.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments in your occupational area and assessment methods.
  • Providing ongoing information, advice, and guidance to learners.
  • Engaging proactively with employers to update them on learner progress.
  • Embedding safeguarding, British values, awareness of prevent, equality and diversity, and health and safety into the learner's programme.
  • Supporting and maintaining the quality assurance process for assessment and training.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • D32 / 33 or A1 units.
  • Recognised Teaching Qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE) is desirable.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English.
  • Relevant qualifications in subject area(s).
  • Experience of using e-portfolios is desirable.
  • Occupational competence in accordance with Awarding Body guidelines.
  • Experience of delivering NVQs.
  • Access to own vehicle with business insurance for national travel.
