We are looking for a Associate Director, Admissions and Pre-Arrival to join our team.

As the Associate Director of Admissions and Pre-arrival and a member of the Senior Management Team, your focus will be on driving improvements to the Admissions operation to meet business goals, while ensuring that the team upholds quality, compliance and governance controls. This role reports to the Director, Admissions and Pre-Arrival, and sits alongside the Head of Admissions and Student Experience, and the Head of Pre-Arrival.

What you'll bring to the role

  • You will have senior level UK admissions experience and display a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment. You'll be required to proactively consider regulatory and compliance considerations in all we do, raise risk, take initiative for new policy and process.
  • Be a true leader who will nurture talent, capacity-build and be decisive and effective with under-performance
  • Show critical thinking especially when it comes to finding solutions to recruitment barriers within the admissions journey
  • Ideally will have working knowledge of Pathways and the recruitment trends Pathways works within
  • A clear vision for what good looks like and ability to adapt this vision to company goals and changing business challenges. Strong communication and implementation of the vision.
  • Has gravitas internally and externally - can be the 'face of' Kaplan admissions with partner universities and the ability to negotiate effectively to ensure outcomes that are right for Kaplan and our University partners
  • Relishes working within a fast-pace environment and has an aptitude to flex priorities daily
  • Looks 'outward' including proactive collaboration with teams across the student journey to ensure stakeholder and student feedback is part of admissions strategy
