At MSV Housing we're committed to making sure our customers have good quality safe homes and our Foyer Manager are key to making this happen.

We are looking to recruit an experienced individual to join our established team. Reporting to our Head of Young Persons Services our Foyer Manager work collaboratively in partnership with the HYPS to ensure the Foyer Teams are empowered to give an excellent service to our customers. This will be for looked after children aged 16, 17 and in some cases 18 years old.

What do our Foyer Managers do:

  • Be responsible for the overall management of our care leavers accommodation and Staying Close offer including staff management, meeting performance targets, recruitment and funding in accordance with agreed targets and standards.
  • Ensure high level of safeguarding and compliance are achieved for MSV and client group whilst also prioritising safety, trust, collaboration, choice and empowerment in interactions with young people who have experienced trauma.
  • Be compliant and familiar with the Ofsted standards for supported accommodation and contribute to the positive environment for young people.
  • Provide line management to onsite staff supporting the MSV visions and values.

What we are looking for:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the problems and issues facing young people and looked after children
  • Understanding of housing management and maximising rental income
  • Experience of working with young people in social housing / supported housing setting
  • Experience of working with looked after children / leaving care teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner
