About the Role:
We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist to join our Stone Rehabilitation Team. This role involves working autonomously while being part of a multidisciplinary team to provide community rehabilitation services to housebound adults with various physical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments using verbal, non-verbal, and skilled physical techniques.
- Develop and agree on therapeutic goals and treatment plans with patients and carers.
- Manage a caseload autonomously, prioritizing clinical needs and resources efficiently.
- Delegate, supervise, and adjust treatment plans for Rehabilitation Technicians.
- Collaborate with team members and promote integration with the local neighborhood team.
- Utilize various occupational therapy techniques for adaptive and restorative purposes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to clinical audits and service development.
Requirements:

Qualifications: BSc in Occupational Therapy, HCPC Registration

Experience: At least 2 years in NHS setup; Broad experience in neurology, orthopedics, musculoskeletal, and elderly care. Experience working independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Skills:

Knowledge of occupational therapy practices for conditions such as Parkinson's, MS, falls, and cancer.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office.

Capable of effective time and resource management and traveling across a large area.
Desirable:
- 2 years post-qualification NHS experience.
- Further clinical study relevant to long-term conditions.
