What You Will Do:
- Define and solve problems using robust problem-solving tools such as Root Cause Analysis and 8 Disciplines of problem solving.
- Employ strong negotiation skills to drive resolutions and enhance customer satisfaction through vehicles free from abnormal noise and water leaks.
- Analyse large data sets to inform next actions and hands-on problem solving.
- Organise work based on priority, delivering against plans in agile two-week sprints.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to promote issues to the next phase of investigation.
- Deliver presentations to work groups and senior management, demonstrating your findings and solutions.
What You Will Bring:
- An Engineering degree or equivalent automotive experience with a strong background in problem solving and quality tools.
- Previous experience of New Model Launch or Vehicle Manufacturing operations.
- Technical knowledge of vehicle engineering related to Squeaks & Rattle or Water Drive and motivation to achieve goals of team and self with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrable problem solving experience e.g. Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving. Good knowledge of quality tools (8D, Fish bone, FTA, PDCA, 5Y etc.
- A full UK driving licence, with the capability to pass a medical for a class 3 driving licence.
