Financial Controller - (12 Months FTC)

A dynamic, exciting SaaS business who have recently secured additional investment are looking for a Financial Controller as they continue to develop their long-term business strategy. The Financial Controller will be responsible for much of the day-to-day finance function for the company, as well as working closely with the CFO in upcoming M&A activities.
General responsibilities include:
- Maintaining budgets and forecasts for budget holders including budget meetings with heads of departments to report actuals verses forecasted expenditure.
- Month end close process including the preparation of Management Accounts including consolidation.
- Payroll processing for the UK and US including statutory filings, tax and social security payments.
- Bi-monthly and monthly cash flow reporting including debtor analysis, cash runway and FX variances.
- Managing monthly journals for accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
- Assisting the CFO with the annual budgeting process
- Assisting the CFO in M&A and fundraising activities
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2+ years' post-qualified experience in a similar role including multicurrency and consolidation.
- Previous experience working for a SaaS business.
- Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity in tax and accounting compliance and regulations
- Previous use of Sage and Xero would be an advantage.
