1:1 Teaching Assistants

Here at Zest, we are a market leading agency, and we are currently looking for 1:1 teaching assistants to go into schools in Castle Bromwich. This is the perfect opportunity for you if you are looking for a better work-life balance as this will be flexible work and will work around you and your life.

These roles will be on a part time basis and will start as soon as possible. As a 1:1 teaching assistant you will be working closely with students to ensure they receive the best education and opportunities possible. This role requires you to be caring and patient as you will be working closely with students that do need extra support so they will need to trust you and build a relationship with you. You will be working closely with other teachers and colleagues to ensure the best decisions are made for students and communicate this with any parents and careers so good communication skills are key. Creativity is essential in this role as you will have to adapt to each need of each individual student.

A successful candidate will have to have relevant experience in a primary school setting or something similar. You will also have to hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is on the update service and if not be willing to obtain one. A passion for supporting and encouraging development in young children is also essential for success in this role.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
