International HR Lead Hybrid/London 12-18 month contract

My client are a large international organisation in the payments industry. They are looking for an HR Lead with good international experience, preferably working with the USA.

The role is Hybrid working 2 days on site in London and the rest of the time remotely.

Generally duties/responsibility and experience will be:

  1. Responsible for assisting in the implementation of ER (Employee relations) strategies, programs and policies which promote productive and positive relationships between managers, employees and co-workers by helping to prevent and resolve issues between individuals. Responsible for following ER related policies and procedures in a consistent and expedient manner to ensure that employees are treated fairly and actions taken are in compliance with Company policy and government regulations. In addition to handling day-to-day ER matters, also helps to educate appropriate audiences with the goal of minimizing legal risk, preventing the unfair treatment of employees and addressing ER issues. Will work on local ER projects and cross-functional ER projects.

  2. Leads in the administration of L&D (Learning and Development) activities across the International locations through collaboration with the L&D COE and local HRC's.

  3. Supports Integration activities as required such as data gathering, report writing, production of communications ect.

  4. Supports the Intl HRD (HR Director) as needed

International experiences would be ideal, along with working for a US based organization. You will need to be able to collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders through clients HR operating model.

Experience of operating in an M&A environment would be a bonus.

In conclusion client is looking for an experienced HR practitioner who is able to manage a wide variety of Employee Relations matters as well as general cyclical HR activities such as talent management.

CIPD qualified and HR batchelors degree are minimum requirements. Payments experiences preferred.
