Description
- Overseeing daily reconciliations and spreadsheet production
- Managing month-end Sage rollover and reporting
- Producing Board reports and financial forecasts
- Supporting our Treasury operations and ensuring compliance with our treasury policy
- Training and supporting Finance Technicians and Assistants
- Assisting with year-end audit queries and ad-hoc projects
Profile
A successful Assistant Finance Accountant should have:
- AAT or Finalist with ACCA, ACA, or ACMA
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Experience with Sage 200 and month-end accounts production
- Intermediate Excel skills and a solid understanding of audit processes
- Experience within Financial Services
- Knowledge of payroll processes
- Previous experience in process automation and improvement
