Payroll Administrator

Are you an experienced payroll administrator looking for a flexible, part-time role? We are seeking a Temporary Payroll Administrator to support a busy payroll team. The role will be working 3 days per week (around 21 hours).

The Role:
In this role, you will work alongside the HR team, managing payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of weekly and monthly payrolls. You will focus on inputting data from weekly timesheets, verifying accuracy, and supporting pension uploads. Attention to detail is essential to catch any anomalies and ensure all rates and calculations are correct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uploading weekly timesheets into the payroll system and ensuring accuracy.
  • Checking payroll data, including manual calculations for sick pay and holiday pay.
  • Supporting pension uploads (People's Pension, standard auto-enrolment).
  • Liaising with finance
  • Ensuring payroll data is correct and that reference rates are pulling correctly.
  • Assisting with P11Ds and other payroll/HR tasks.

About You:

  • Experience in payroll administration, including manual calculations for sick and holiday pay.
  • Strong attention to detail to identify and correct any anomalies.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and some pensions understanding
  • Ability to work independently.

Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary: £28,000-£30,000 pro rata, depending on your experience. Plus, enjoy excellent additional benefits.
