Position: Wing Repair F+DT Engineer
Pay rate: £42 p/h inside IR35.

IO Associates seeks a Wing Repair F+DT Engineer for the Filton site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. Responsibilities
- Performing structural F+DT analysis and compiling justification reports for repair designs using approved methods and tools, collaborating closely with skilled designers to develop optimal repairs.
- Creating, compiling, and coordinating engineering documentation to deliver the necessary technical data for repairs.
- Providing technical guidance and support to internal teams, including offshore teams and suppliers, as required.
Skills
- Proficient in technical requirements for repair design.
- Working knowledge of wing structures.
- Understanding of the application of Finite Element Analysis.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability.
- Familiar with relevant design principles, processes, methods, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with both metallic and composite wing structures.
Desirables
- Previous F&DT experience required.
- Knowledge of ISAMI methods and tools.
- Experience with repairs is advantageous.
