Are you an Application Support Engineer looking to elevate your career? As part of the Core & Data Application Support team, you'll be instrumental in maintaining, enhancing, and optimising a complex technical estate that spans both on-premise systems and Azure cloud environments.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our client's cloud adoption strategy, utilising your expertise in Azure to ensure seamless migrations and robust support for their critical banking and data systems. Your work will be key in their transition to becoming a Digital-First bank, contributing to the ongoing transformation of their services. You'll oversee the operational management of their digital data platform, ensuring performance, resilience, and security across all environments.
You'll be part of a team that values excellence in service delivery, where your proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues will directly impact customer satisfaction. The role offers flexibility, including potential participation in an on-call support rota for 24/7 core and data services, ensuring the systems remain operational around the clock.
Our client is seeking someone with solid experience managing production services on Azure, a deep understanding of both Windows and Unix operating systems, and a proven track record in application support. If you have scripting and automation skills, familiarity with agile methodologies, or experience in the Financial Services industry, that's even better.
