Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Miller/Turner - Workshop Machinist to join our friendly and proactive Client in West Horndon, Essex.
Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:
- Proficient in reading engineering manufacturing drawings for the production of parts and components.
- Calculating dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and measuring instruments.
- Machine parts to pre-determined specifications using various machine tools: lathes, milling machines, machining centres, borers, grinders and pedestal/ radial drill.
- Ability to work to very high tolerances.
- High attention to detail and appreciation of health & safety.
- Execute all work professionally.
You will need:
- To have relevant knowledge, training and experience working in a machine environment.
- Time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications.
- Recent work experience operating lathes, milling machines, borers, grinders and drills.
- Able to communicate in a clear, concise, logical manner both verbally and written.
- Be self-motivated to work individually but adaptable to work as part of a team.
- Have a good level of fitness due to the physical demands of the job.
- Have a flexible and positive outlook.
- Driver with own transport is essential due to location of company.
