Job Title: Administrative Support - Travelling required

Location: South West, South Coast, Oxfordshire

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 + Car allowance OR Company Car + Mileage expenses paid every 2 / 3 days + Hotel / accommodation provided + overnight allowance + Train travel

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive individual for the role of Administrative Support. This position involves working closely with the Regional Quality Manager to provide essential administrative assistance, coordinate aftercare activities, and support quality management processes across the region. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently within established guidelines.

The typical workweek includes regular travel between regions (Oxford, Hampshire, Plymouth, and Bristol). The successful candidate will be required to liaise with site teams and subcontractors, provide administrative duties, conduct in-house training for staff members, and work closely with the senior manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provides comprehensive administrative assistance to the Regional Quality Manager, including setting up meetings, transcribing minutes, and handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Communication: Maintains effective communication with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors, ensuring a polite and professional approach at all times.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organises and coordinates meetings and conferences, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place.
  • Quality & Aftercare Coordination: Collaborates with the Regional Quality Manager to coordinate aftercare services for the Thames Valley region, including logging defects, liaising with the supply chain, and ensuring issues are resolved within contract timelines.
  • Project Reporting: Reviews regional projects and produces reports, supporting the Regional Quality Manager with project completions.
  • Training & Development: Supports the rollout of new platforms and provides training related to Quality and Aftercare as required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Flexible and willing to travel regularly between regions (Oxford, Hampshire, Plymouth, and Bristol & remotely.
  • Highly organised and proactive with a proven track record in administrative roles.
  • Experience working in team-oriented environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working independently while being a strong collaborator.
  • Adaptable, open to change, and willing to develop new skills as needed.
  • Open to negotiation and influence from others.
  • Capable of providing in-house training and support.
  • Ready to engage with different teams and subcontractors across multiple locations
