We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in Leeds, working full-time in a dynamic secondary school setting. If you have a love for teaching and a commitment to student success, this could be the perfect role for you!
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in a relevant Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- A passion for education and a commitment to the academic and personal development of students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Science (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics) to students aged 11-16.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student's work to ensure consistent progress and achievement.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, catering to students of different abilities.
- Foster a love of learning and scientific curiosity in your students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, contributing to curriculum development.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure the safety and welfare of all students.
