Proactive Personnel Ltd are proud to be recruiting for our market leading client for an experienced Site Manager.
- As Site Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the installation works of sortation/material handling systems and airport baggage systems, including Health & Safety, Quality and Progress.
- You will be responsible for the management of Supervisors and our approved sub-contractors ensuring deliveries etc., are requested in a timely manner, site cleanliness is adhered to, and installation is on target.
- Planning and co-ordination of equipment deliveries to site, in line with project schedule, ensuring installation is on schedule and that quality standards are met.
- You will be responsible for reporting progress to the Project / Construction Manager.
- This role will involve travelling nationwide (including Ireland) as well as some international travel.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks:
- Experience in controlling multi-discipline teams (mechanical/electrical) within an airport / construction environment.
- You will be expected to attend all site meetings and produce relevant documentation
- Effective communication skills in this position are essential, as well as the ability to understand project schedules and provide accurate progress data to the project manager.
- Responsible for the effective control of all site activities, including lifting and hot works.
- Conducting site safety inspections.
You must have an engineering background and have HNC / HND or equivalent.
You must have relevant CSCS , SSSTS or SMSTS card. Possession of an airside security pass would be advantageous.
To be considered for this role, you must have a 5 year checkable work history.
£65,000 - £70,000 per annum.
48 hour working week.
