Morgan McKinley are proud to be working with a professional services business in the Northamptonshire area, looking for an interim SOX Accountant who has implemented or supported the integration of SOX compliance.
Role;
Responsibilities;
- Lead the implementation and management of SOX compliance across the organisation
- Design, document, and evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and address compliance issues
- Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to SOX compliance
- Provide training and guidance to staff on SOX compliance and internal controls
- Prepare and present SOX compliance reports to senior management
Profile
- Proven experience in implementing and managing a SOX process
- Strong background in internal auditing within a US business
- In-depth knowledge of SOX regulations and internal control frameworks
- ACCA, CPA or ACA qualification required
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
