Job Title: Sales Ledger Clerk
Location: Manchester
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum (DOE)
Benefits: Hybrid (2 days in the office) - Free parking
Job Summary: Manage the sales ledger, ensuring accurate posting of receipts and maintaining customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post daily cash receipts and allocate to customer accounts.
- Chase outstanding debts via phone and email.
- Maintain and update the sales ledger.
- Prepare month-end sales ledger reports.
- Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.
- Resolve customer invoice and payment queries.
- Raise BACS payments as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Perform ad hoc finance tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in sales ledger management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective time management and prioritization.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Sage Line 50
