This lovely SEN school is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support 1-2-1 and small group support for children with special educational needs. As a Learning Support Assistant you will be joining an outstanding team of Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants in supporting the needs of children with a variety of special needs including Autism, MLD, Global Delay and Aspergers'. This role requires a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience with special educational needs and is looking for a long-term opportunity!

Job Role:

  • Supporting children with special needs on a group basis.
  • Having a good understanding of MLD, Autism, or SLD.
  • Working as a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant.
  • Taking part in whole school activities and making school fun, engaging and nurturing.
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and managing behaviours.
