Media Sales Executive

As a Media Sales Executive for our partnership with one of London's best-known magazines, your role will be to manage key accounts and grow a portfolio of clients across London and beyond, providing local businesses with access to the magazine's suite of promotional products.
The role will combine account management and driving new business across all the verticals they cover editorially.
Our Local Marketing Solutions department is fast-paced and dynamic, and we are looking for ambitious salespeople with a drive to succeed. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Our Magazine, a good knowledge of London, a dedication to delivering world-class service to clients, and an exceptionally high attention to detail

Key Deliverables:

  • Account manage a portfolio of existing clients, making sure they are highly satisfied in their partnership with us, while also driving additional revenue throughout the lifetime of their contract.
  • Manage your own leads and utilise online and offline sources to cultivate new targets and clients.
  • Continuously develop and maintain your pipeline of potential business.
  • Make a high volume of daily outbound sales calls to business owners across relevant verticals.
  • Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Work alongside finance, ad ops, project management and editorial teams to ensure revenue is recognised and campaigns delivered.
  • Regular feedback to clients on campaign performance and further optimisation opportunities.
  • Deliver top-of-class client service

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • A can-do attitude with the skills to quickly action clients' needs
  • 1-3 years sales experience ideally in a digital media landscape but not essential. We will also consider ambitious graduates who have a strong desire to succeed and deliver exceptional service.
  • A good understanding of Our Magazine and the verticals we cover
  • An excellent knowledge of London, especially restaurants, bars and events.
  • Passionately curious about people, places and local businesses.
  • An exceptional level of attention to detail.
  • Assertiveness coupled with the ability to listen and persuade others.
  • Adaptability coupled with resilience and tenacity.
  • Able to demonstrate account and project management skills
  • Must be a self-starter who thrives whilst working in a face-paced environment, and learns quickly
  • Strong prioritisation skills, juggling multiple challenges and campaigns at any given time
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A confident individual who is efficient at every turn is critical for the success in this position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
