Description

  • Developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies
  • Managing high-value contracts and supplier relationships
  • Ensuring procurement practices adhere to public sector regulations
  • Timely production of compliant sourcing plans and contract awards
  • Ongoing supplier performance and risk management
  • Development of market analysis and multi-year category plans in pursuit of the team's transformation plan
  • Use and promotion of procurement data analytics and MI.
  • Driving cost-saving initiatives
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their procurement needs
  • Monitoring supplier performance and enforcing contractual obligations

Profile

A successful Senior Procurement and Contracts Manager should have:

  • Expertise in managing high-value contracts and supplier relationships
  • It is essential that the successful candidate has professional services experience in L&D training
  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement regulations
  • Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor a team
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost-saving initiatives
  • A degree in business, finance or related field
