Job Title: Inventory Controller
Pay: Up to £14.20 depending on skills & experience
Location: Dorking
Duration: 6 Month Temporary Position
Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Brief
WorkingwiththeWarehouse Supervisor, takingresponsibilityforthesafeandtimely completion ofphysicalInventory counts andtheassociated administrativeactivities by following relevantdocumentedprocesses/procedures.
Maintaininventoryrecordsonthecompany ERP system.
MainDuties
- CompletionofInventorycountsincludingphysicalcountingofmaterials,documentingcount results,andenteringcountresultsintothecompanyERP system.
- Posting Inventory differences uptoauthorisedvalueandinvestigatingcausesfordifferences.Escalating anyissues thatcould accountfordifferences.Support Inventory counting compliance auditsasrequired.
- Ownershipofdaily/weekly administrationtargets,managing issues andtakingactionsthat positivelyimpacttargetachievement.Escalation ofissues thatcannot beresolved withinthejob holder's area ofcontrol.
- EnsuredepartmentalKPl's(Keyperformance indicators)aremeasuredandreported.
- Supportinginternal/externalauditsrelatingto Inventorycounts.
- Willinglyperformanyotherdutiesdeemedappropriatebythecompany.
OtherRequirements
- Mustbecomputerliterate withMicrosoftOffice softwareincluding Outlook,Excel, andWord. Withcapabilitytoproducebasicspreadsheets,documentationtosupportdepartmental operationsandbeabletocommunicateeffectivelyusingEmail.
- IdeallyexperiencewithusingSAPERP/WM system.
- Ideallyhaveminimumof2years ERPsystemexperience inaWarehouse environment focused on inventory management witha goodunderstanding ofwarehouse stock reporting and Inventory counting.
