My client is currently recruiting a Solicitor or equivalent with Clinical Negligence Grade C experience to join their dynamic team. The role involves actively participating in the management of a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases, from inception to Trial, under supervision and in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with Lawyers and Senior Lawyers, accepting delegated tasks, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to settling cases.

You will become an integral part of a quality, large, and busy team of clinical negligence experts. The team comprises experienced professionals, including individuals with accreditations from APIL, AvMA, and Law Society Clinical Negligence Panel.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Running an individual caseload and providing support to the team.

  • Support Team Leader/Head of Department in achieving financial and performance KPIs.
  • Draft legal documentation, including LOC and letters of instruction.
  • Negotiate settlement and oversee the litigation of claims if required.
  • Advise the team on technical issues arising from their cases.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience handling a caseload, possess NQ-5 years PQE in Clinical Negligence, and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and IT skills. Strong commercial awareness within a legal environment is crucial, as is the ability to mentor junior team members effectively.

In return, my client offers a competitive salary, a 35-hour working week, a bonus scheme subject to targets, 35 days of holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays and Christmas Closure), and the option to purchase up to 3 extra days annually. Other benefits include a pension scheme with a tax-efficient salary sacrifice option, a Life Assurance Policy, a Medicash policy covering dental, optical, and other medical expenses, enhanced company sick pay, and enhanced Maternity, Paternity, and IVF schemes.

The firm provides a flexible, agile working environment that promotes a positive work-life balance. They pride themselves on an inclusive culture and diverse workforce, encouraging applications from all backgrounds.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply promptly, as my client reserves the right to close this role early depending on candidate caliber and volume. Join this growing team and become part of an organisation that values its employees and fosters professional development. Please send a recent Cv to
