  • Salary: £25,119 - £31,364 per annum (£13.02 – £16.26 per hour, dependent on experience)
  • Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced School Site Manager to join a school in the Erdington area of Birmingham. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the school's sites are fully compliant with health and safety requirements and that service delivery is consistently of high quality.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Ensure Trust policies, processes, and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Manage and perform planned and reactive site duties to support all school maintenance needs.
  • Maintain full compliance with health and safety requirements across the school sites.
  • Work effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Line manage Site Assistants and coordinate their work schedules.
  • Utilize the electronic estates management system, Every, for logging, managing jobs, and statutory recording.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability and experience in site management within an educational setting or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and the ability to apply these in a school context.
  • Experience in line management and leading a team.
  • Proficiency in using electronic estates management systems, with a preference for Every.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
  • A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
