Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of a Large manufacturer to recruit a Production Operative to work in a busy manufacturing environment based in Sherburn in Elmet.
Role: Production Operative
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7.15-4.30, Friday 7.15-12.15
Location: Sherburn in Elmet
Hourly Rate: £12.79
Responsibilities:
- Picking and preparing materials for production
- Loading and unloading machines
- Performing quality and quantity checks
- Packing and labelling products
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Keeping the factory floor clean and hazard-free
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Operating forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment (once trained)
- Reporting any issues or near misses to the Team Leader
- Being flexible to support overtime and shift changes when needed
Requirements:
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident, proactive, and motivated approach to work
- Good attention to detail and a methodical mindset
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
- A team player who can also work independently
- Comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment
- Awareness of ISO 9001 quality standards is a bonus
