My client, a global sportswear and accessories supplier, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their friendly and fast-paced team.
With a salary of up to £32,000 per annum for this office-based role, they are looking for someone who is Level 4 AAT or currently studying CIMA/ACCA.
Your roles will include:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and ensuring they match purchase orders
- Bank account reconciliations for multiple currencies
- Uploading invoices and credit notes
- Assisting with month-end processing and reconciliations
- Assisting the credit controllers where necessary
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing audit schedules and answering queries
- Providing ad hoc reports and analysis
Desired attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Level 4 AAT or studying CIMA/ACCA.
- Excellent Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables.
- Experience working with Sage 200 (or similar) and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of people.
