School Administrator
- Annual Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 (Depending on experience)
- Location: Thames Valley area
We are seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our school's administrative functions, from managing communications to organising school events and maintaining essential records.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Administrative Support: Answer phones, manage email and post, and handle communication with parents.
- School Events: Organise events such as parents' evenings and open evenings, managing attendance and ensuring events run smoothly.
- Health and Safety: Oversee the administration team's health and safety responsibilities, including conducting risk assessments.
- School Calendar: Maintain the school calendar and manage diary scheduling for the head of school and department heads.
- Pupil Data: Handle pupil data management, admissions, and the transfer of pupil records
- DBS Applications: Process DBS applications and maintain the single central record for staff and volunteers.
- School Supplies: Monitor and order school supplies as needed to support educational activities.
- Financial Records: Maintain financial records, process invoices, and manage school budgeting tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using office management software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a school environment.
- Familiarity with financial record keeping and budget management.
