Music Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Music Teacher to work at a secondary school in Selby, starting 2nd September 2024 and lasting until at least December 2024. This is a temporary position, that may be extended in the future. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale (up to M6), meaning a daily rate payment of between £153.85 and £211.96 per day.
This role will involve teaching Music to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, so a specialist teacher is required for this position. There is the potential for some Key Stage 3 Drama teaching in this position, so experience teaching both Music and Drama is desirable for this role.
Located in Selby, the school is easy to access from the East Riding of Yorkshire and Selby. There is a large onsite car park that is free to use and always has spaces. The school has an excellent reputation in the local area, and treats supply staff extremely well. There is potential to complete a term of your ECT within this position, so ECTs are encouraged to apply for this position.

- Have experience working within schools in the UK.
- Has experience supporting within UK schools
- Has experience teaching Music to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

- Legal right to work in the UK
