Salary Range: £30,000 - £46,525 per year (MPS/UPS)

Location: East Malling, near Maidstone

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception/EYFS Teacher to join our vibrant primary school near Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum to lead and nurture young minds at a crucial stage in their educational journey.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the Reception class through the EYFS curriculum, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all pupils.
  • Provide SEN and pastoral support to students as required, creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback and setting targets to promote development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A strong working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Some SEN experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
