Our client, an independent and rapidly growing firm of accountants based in Witney, Oxfordshire are recruiting for a Senior Manager / Associate to join their growing team.

They provide audit, accountancy, taxation, and business advisory services across the South of England and pride themselves on their commitment to honesty, transparency, and integrity in all that they do. Their people are at the heart of their success, and they are seeking an exceptional Senior Client Manager / Associate Director to join their expanding team.

Role Overview: As a Senior Client Manager / Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships and overseeing a designated portfolio. You will be responsible for the preparation and review of accounts and audits, leading advisory assignments such as business valuations and strategic planning, and managing workflow and billing processes. Additionally, you will mentor and delegate work to junior staff, ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture client relationships, acting as the primary contact for a designated portfolio.
  • Lead the preparation and review of accounts, audits, and other financial reports.
  • Assist in advisory assignments including business valuations, transactional due diligence, and strategic planning.
  • Oversee the workflow pipeline and manage monthly billing processes.
  • Train and delegate tasks to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm, working closely with directors to drive growth and excellence.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • ACCA/ACA qualified, with significant experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in accounting software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to client management and problem-solving.
