Transport Planner
Bilston
Temp – Perm
£30 – 35k per annum
7:30am – 5:30pm (1hr lunch)
We are currently recruiting for a experienced Transport Planner for one of our long standing and well established clients in the Bilston/Wolverhampton area. This role has been created due to the increase of workload and current success of the company.
Main duties:
- Assist with all enquiries/queries that come through, escalating if necessary.
- Ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service possible.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, sub-contractors and the wider team.
- Process jobs with a high degree of accuracy.
- Any adhoc duties.
- Assist and troubleshoot any issues/problems.
- Other duties as required.
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience in transport/haulage/planner.
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Have extremely strong attention to detail.
- Have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritise workloads to maintain on task/target.
- Be adaptable and resilient.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
