Founded in 1974, Thermal Hire has built an impressive reputation over nearly 50 years as a leader in our industry. We are seeking a dedicated individual to train as an on-site Heat Treatment Technician.
In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to provide on-site heat treatment services, including pre and post-weld heat treatment, induction heat treatment, and refractory gas-fired bake outs. Be prepared for travel and working away from home as part of this engaging opportunity.

You will receive professional training in:
- On-site pre and post weld heat treatment.
- How to carry out on-site induction heat treatment.
- How to carry out refractory gas fired bake outs.
- Maintenance of heat treatment equipment.
- How to follow and apply heat treatment procedures as per customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be committed to working on customer sites in a safe manner.
- Be reliable with excellent timekeeping skills.
- Be highly organised with the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Hold a full UK driving licence to travel to customer sites.
- Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
Please Note: You will be required to attend a course to obtain a CCSNG safety passport.
