IT Support Engineer - £35,000 - £40,000
Piper Maddox is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join a dynamic team within the renewable energy sector. They are committed to pioneering sustainable energy solution to drive the energy transition by developing solar, wind and energy storage projects globally to make clean energy easily accessible. They have produced multiple innovative projects and applications which are at the forefront of clean tech and are pivotal in the energy transition.
We're looking for an IT Support Engineer with 4+ years of experience to be an key member of the business, within a small team, focusing on troubleshooting, management and maintenance of hardware and software within a growing business.
The Role:
- Point of contact for all IT issues across the organization.
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Working with technologies such as Office 365, Azure Administration etc.
- Administration of user accounts, security settings and system configurations including ERP and SaaS applications.
- Further opportunity to go beyond pure support and having big impact on the IT team and direction (Planning, migrations and execution of projects).
- Attention to detail with documentation and processes.
Background:
- 4+ years' experience within an IT Support team.
- Proven expertise with Office 365, Azure, Entra AD etc.
- Experience and understanding of IT standards such as ISO27001, SOX and ITIL
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
