SEND Teaching Assistant - Skelmersdale - Full Time

About the School:
This school supports students aged 11-16 who experience behavioural, emotional, and social challenges, as well as some with ASD diagnoses. Each student has an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) tailored to their specific needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the class teacher to ensure every student has equal access to learning opportunities.
- Offer support to students on a one-on-one basis or in small groups.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Monitor and evaluate student's progress in accordance with their EHCPs.
- Foster an inclusive environment that promotes the well-being and achievement of all students.
What We Are Looking For:
- A sincere passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- A detailed CV outlining your education and employment history.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
