Biology Teacher
Location: Spalding
Contract: Full-time, temporary (until May half term initially)
Start Date: ASAP
Join our vibrant school community as a Biology Teacher in Spalding! We are seeking a dedicated educator to teach Key Stage 3 Science and Key Stage 4 Biology on a full-time, temporary basis.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with curriculum objectives.
- Conduct practical experiments and investigations to enhance student learning.
- Assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Biology or Science.
- Experience teaching Biology at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Biology education.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
