Reporting directly to the CFO, and working closely with key stakeholders and investors, we're looking for someone to help drive and shape the management information in line with the business plans and agenda.

Finance Business Partner – The Role
- Business planning, budgeting and forecasting inputs from the business
- Responsible for driving the sales and operational performance and forecast
- Driving the financial performance and ensuring reporting and MI is presented to the business and management team including business commentary
- Providing analysis on sales, gross margin and profitability
- Providing analysis and reporting on direct labour efficiency and productivity
- Providing analysis of inventory, inventory movements, slow moving stock and obsolescence
- Provide the business with meaningful decision support through analysis and insight
- Ensuring that meaningful and accurate variance analysis is delivered to better understand the performance and cost base of the business
- Working with Production and Procurement to establish standard costing, purchase and material price variance analysis
- Working with the Operations Director to understand productivity of the shop floor and justify investment in machinery and facilities as required
- Working with the Production Manager to understand labour utilisation and efficiency
- Development of operational and financial KPIs including challenging performance of the business against theseFinancial insight and analysis, communicating results and findings effectively to stakeholders across the business
- Partner and influence budget holders to ensure effective early warning of potential future problems, to better manage financial risk
- Influence and challenge the business through engaging and communicating effectively with partners and stakeholders
- Ensure all financial models accurately reflect how costs are incurred within the business. Lead the business in continually refining calculations and assumptions to ensure decisions are made based on accurate information
- Customer contract support with commercial teams (Pricing and costing reviews)
- Attend monthly site performance reviews
- Attend weekly MPS and sales opportunity meetings
- Develop commercial models and reports relevant to improving BI across the business
- Assisting the senior team, FC, OD, CD, CEO & CFO on ad hoc projects
- Partner ERP deployments and changes, including operational process mapping
- Supporting with lease/buy, make/buy, and CAPEX contract decisions
- Providing support to the Statutory financial Audits
Finance Business Partner – The Role
- Qualified or QBE ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Prior experience within manufacturing
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Prior business partnering experience
- A confident communicator, keen to bring to new ideas to the table and isn't afraid to push back
Finance Business Partner – The Package
- Salary up to £75,000
- Hybrid working – circa 3 days in the office
