This small but mighty family run business are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their team. This position is on a temporary to permanent basis, with a handover with the current team member who is moving onto a new role. A great friendly team, with an office puppy, and an incredibly welcoming and chatty environment!
£15 + dependent on experience.
Your new role
Your role is key to the overall business operation, preparing all accounts before they are sent over to the external accountant.
Day to day duties include:
Sales ledger - raise invoices, customer reports, delivery notes, credit controlPurchase ledger - input supplier invoices, post general expenses, reconcile statements
Bank - Post customer receipts, reconcile bank account
Payroll - Check time sheets against staff schedule, enter info onto spreadsheets, report details to accountants
General - Ad hoc office duties, answering the phone & speaking with customers, maintain fixed asset module, liaise with accountants, report accounts to directors
What you'll need to succeed
Experience within a similar position with transferable skills.
Use of Sage 50
Based locally to Rotherham
