Warehouse Operative

- Hours: Monday - Friday 3pm – Midnight
- Location: Preston, Strand Road
- Salary: £11.44 per hour – £12.44 unsociable hours
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to assist in the day-to-day operations of a busy manufacturing warehouse. The role is crucial in ensuring that orders are completed on time while adhering to health & safety procedures and maintaining quality standards. Experience in a similar role is essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles to ensure smooth operations.
- Assisting with machine orders and stocking products on various machines.
- Performing heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.
- Undertaking any additional duties necessary to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar environment.
- Familiarity with woodworking machines is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to take on responsibilities and follow through with tasks.
