One of the largest NHS trusts in the UK is looking for an enthusiastic Band 2/3 Healthcare Assistant with experience to join our reputable multidisciplinary team.
Description:
Healthcare assistants provide care to patients in an inpatient environment. You will be required to participate in a 24-hour internal rotation, working various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, nights, and long days. Other responsibilities may be assigned in line with the position's grade.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:
- Work as part of a team to care for local patients and families
- Monitor the quality of care provided
- Offer feedback to managers on the quality of care
Skills/Experience:
- Experience in PICU is preferred
- Experience in a health or social care setting
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience in a community environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
- Moderate IT skills
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Experience with Rio is desirable
