RG Consultancy are working with a manufacturing company based in Liverpool who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. The company are part of a larger group with sites across the UK as well as in other parts of the world and this role will be the main point of contact for finance for the site in Liverpool.
Reporting to the UK Finance Director and the site Managing Director, this Finance Manager role will be responsible for the day-to-day finance activities and duties will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control.
- Maintenance of the fixed asset register
- Production of product costings
- Cashflow management
- Approval of expenses
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Continual improvement and development of financial policies and procedures
- Implement and manage company IT system
- Manage year end audit and 6 monthly stock takes
This Finance Manager role is ideal for an experienced Management Accountant, who happy to get hands on with the shop floor with regards to product costings, timings etc. Experience with system implementation would be an advantage. The company are a recent addition to a larger group and this role offers the chance to play an integral role in the integration to group.
