RM Recruit are working with Yorkshire based Multi Academy Trust to recruit an Interim Finance Director for their team. This 3 - 6 month assignment will see you operated as the "number one" in finance whilst the Trust undertakes the recruitment process for the permanent Finance Director vacancy.
Your remit will include, but not be limited to:
- Act as the named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary and carry out accountabilities and responsibilities set out in the Academies Trust Handbook.
- Provision of high quality leadership and management of the Trust's internal-facing finance function to enable the Trust to run smoothly, efficiently, and effectively in the delivery of its core aims.
- Leading the finance team and ensuring effective financial management.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to drive financial planning and analysis.
We are seeking candidates who hold fully qualified status and who have proven experience in Multi Academy Trust settings. This role can be hybrid or remote if you can demonstrate the sector knowledge and ability to operate as an effective Finance Director/CFO in the sector. Part time working can also be an option for this contract.
