Procurement Business Partner

Location: Woolpit Office (with hybrid home working)

Job Type: Full-time

Reporting to: Group Procurement Manager

We are seeking a Procurement specialist to provide strategic guidance and support throughout the procurement cycle. This role involves engaging with stakeholders, sourcing new suppliers, and ensuring value for money and high-quality service in procurement activities.

Day to day of the role:

Source and provide market intelligence to stakeholders for engaging new suppliers of goods and services.

Utilise the in-house Comply platform to assess and onboard qualified suppliers across the Group.

Support tendering and supplier selection processes, ensuring value for money and the highest quality service.

Ensure all Group spend is supported by appropriate contractual terms to minimise business risks.

Develop KPIs and contract management provisions for strategically important contracts.

Work with the Group Procurement Manager to support sustainable procurement activities across the business.

Perform any other duties as required by the manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

CIPS Qualification to a minimum of Level 5.

Experience in tendering and contracting.

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs.

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Understanding of construction activities is desirable.
