Salary: Up to £58,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Continental Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Shift Engineer to join our dynamic team in Slough, working on an exciting new data centre project. As a Senior Shift Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical systems within the data centre.
  • Leading a team of engineers to deliver exceptional performance and reliability.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Responding promptly to technical issues and emergencies, troubleshooting problems effectively.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a data centre or critical environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Relevant qualifications such as HND/HNC or equivalent in Engineering.
