DESCRIPTION.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

  • Greet and engage with customers as they visit our showroom by appointment only, create a welcoming and informative atmosphere, address their inquiries, and provide insights into our collections.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the products, including their materials, designs, and features. Effectively communicate the benefits of each piece to customers, aligning their preferences with the most suitable option.
  • Take a consultative approach to understand customers' preferences, lifestyle, and design needs. Recommend selections that align with their tastes and requirements, fostering a personalised shopping experience.
  • Ensure the showroom is well-organised and aesthetically pleasing at all times.
  • Guide customers through the purchase process, including providing accurate pricing information, explaining about materials, assisting with any necessary paperwork, closing sales, and processing transactions efficiently.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by keeping track of their preferences, following up on inquiries, and maintaining a high level of responsiveness even after the sale.
  • Work closely with the showroom manager to implement and execute strategies for enhancing post-customer service. Provide hands-on assistance and support in aligning customer service practices with the showroom's overall goals and objectives, contributing to a seamless and customer-centric experience.
  • Stay updated on current design trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings. Use this knowledge to provide customers with valuable insights and recommendations

PROFILE

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Strong passion for interior design
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Knowledge of various styles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and meeting sales targets.
  • Basic computer skills for processing transactions and maintaining customer records.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact confidently with colleagues / clients at all levels.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
