Position: Mental Health Worker
Location: Kidderminster
Type: Full-time/Part-time/Shift work
Hours: 08:45 - 15:15
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individuals experiencing mental health issues, including crisis intervention and daily care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviours, and responses to treatment.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counselling as needed.
- Offer emotional support, practical assistance, and guidance to clients and their families.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant experience in mental health support or a related setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and handle challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and development in the field of mental health.
