Business Manager

We are delighted to be partnering with a group of financial services companies operating in the investment and wealth management, financial planning and fintech space, with multiple offices across the UK.

We are seeking a Business/Offcie Manager/Executive Assistant to join their head office team in Central London.

The successful candidate will support the management team in running the business. The successful candidate will be looking after the coordination of business communications, assistance within various business committees and support to Finance, Legal and HR teams.

An ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise whilst having a handle on all that is essential. This role involves business support for companies providing a diverse range of financial services, giving an excellent opportunity to the right candidate to learn first-hand from the management team and to choose their growth path within the business.

Business Management responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for the management team, arranging meetings and managing diaries
  • Coordinating communication between various business parties within the group
  • Taking minutes of various committees and board meetings
  • Helping with business presentations and marketing materials
  • Assisting the finance department with record keeping, third party invoices and staff expense claims
  • Assisting HR team with onboarding of new employees and coordinating the interview processes
  • Assisting legal team with producing business contracts

The role also involves the Office management responsibility for a small office in Central London, including

  • General office administrative support as needed
  • Be the main point of contact for all vendors and vendor management
  • Assisting IT team with office infrastructure support
  • Assisting with routine facilities maintenance issues
  • Liaising with the landlord's facilities manager

The ideal candidate would have:

  • A degree, ideally in a science, economic or business subject -
  • Previous experience working in financial services industry
  • An ambition to learn and grow
  • An ability to work in a dynamic business environment
  • Proficient with Excel
