Our retained client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant.
The role is to start on the 1st of September and is to cover a 12 month contract for maternity leave
The role will involve:
Production of monthly management accounts
- Posting deferred income and reviewing rental income against budget
- Ensuring costs are accrued or prepaid in the correct periods
- Providing commentary on areas of significant variance
- Production of month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Tracking overheads against budget
Purchase and sales ledger
- Managing the service charge reconciliations
- Monitoring recharges
- Providing support and guidance to the purchase ledger team
Compliance activities
- Handling information requests and queries from external auditors
Other
- Assist Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks
- Work with the team to improve systems and processes
- Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary
The role is based in Altrincham - it is 2 days in the office and hybrid working.
There is also car parking on site.
The role will be interviewing in July with a start date of the 1st of September.
