As the Global Head of HR you'll have a genuine opportunity to create and shape the culture and vision of the business. You'll be an HR professional who operates with a balance between people, culture, and performance-driven initiatives. You'll own the creation, direction, and implementation of the collaborative people-focused strategy which will be a key foundation for growth.

BASIC SALARY: £95,000 - £105,000

LOCATION: Milton Keynes - hybrid - global travel US, EMEA and Australia

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Travel will be required; therefore, flexibility goes both ways, that said, Northampton, Bedford, Cambridge, Brackley, Banbury, Coventry, Peterborough, and Luton.

This role will enable you to impact on how the company progresses and reaches its goals. You'll be instrumental in bringing together the best of the sites, people, and processes, whilst looking to create a clear identity.

ROLE PURPOSE: Global Head of People and Culture, Global HRBP, Head of HR

To provide strategic people and culture initiatives that align with global business needs, whilst being tailored to the site/country demands. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll own and drive the people agenda, and work closely with the SLT to ensure a consistent message to the wider business.

Key tasks:

  • Own and develop a 'people first' L&D program, concentrating on succession planning with a particular focus on enhancing the leadership capabilities of the board and senior management team.
  • Be visible and approachable, engaging with the shop floor through to the various site leadership teams.
  • Create and implement a long-term People strategy that contributes to the business becoming an employer of choice.
  • Analyse, review, and develop the current HR strategy, including TA, DE&I, EE, L&D and C&B, consistently driving a culture of continuous professional development.
  • Leading your team of 4 in modernising and breathing new life into some of our systems.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: Global Head of People and Culture, Global HRBP, Head of HR

You'll have previously championed people, culture, and well-being, and consistently generated methods to engage with, promote, train, and develop a workforce. You'll be fully CIPD qualified, with an inquisitive nature for change, and you'll be well versed in staying up to date with new technology and methodologies that could affect/benefit your people and the business.

Most likely you will have:

  • A proven track record within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in leading HR across global locations, certainly, the US, and ideally EMEA and/or Far East.
  • A commercial approach to HR ensuring the balance between operational needs and people wellness.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiatives you have implemented and the results they have produced.
  • A strong track record of coaching senior leaders.

Due to the fact we are apart of a global business the actual job title of the successful candidate will be 'global HRBP', however, you are still our subsidiary's global head of people and culture, being to lead of all people matters for our business.
