I am delighted to exclusively be working in partnership with my established client to recruit a Trainee Finance Assistant to join an established finance team, reporting to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the transactional finance function.

About the job:

  • Maintaining the cashbook
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Posting all incoming and outgoing payments
  • Liaise with colleagues and external suppliers / customers to proactively resolve queries.
  • Prepare the cashflow forecast and supplier payment runs for approval by the Finance Manager
  • Reviewing and transferring supplier invoices into the Accounts Payable ledger
  • Set up new company accounts
  • Provide support and cover to the finance team.

About you:

  • Intermediate Excel Knowledge
  • Minimum 6 months accounting experience or studying AAT.
