Are you an experienced Executive Assistant with managerial experience who can provide a high level of skilled assistance and support to a team? Do you pride yourself on excellent organisational skills along with strong verbal and written communication? If yes, Signature Recruitment is looking for a full-time Senior Executive Assistant to support the Vice Chancellor and other team members of a prestigious creative University in London. This full-time role, Monday to Friday, has an immediate start and is for a six-month contract. It is offered on a hybrid model with three or four days on campus and the balance working from home.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a busy and demanding setting. A typical day will include extensive diary management and scheduling meetings. In addition, the associated coordination of travel planning and arranging detailed itineraries for events and business trips. You will also have a high level of experience in the organisation of meetings. To include overseeing and ensuring Committee Meetings are attended, agendas circulated, minutes taken, and actions followed. Your managerial experience will ensure staff are supported, motivated and developed.

Senior Executive Assistant Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional support to Senior Executives and the wider team as well as taking managerial responsibility for the Governance Manager and other Executive Assistants
  • Organising complex diary management and overseeing shared inboxes, dealing with queries and signposting as necessary. Producing well drafted reports, papers, and other correspondence
  • Arranging and assisting with internal and external meetings including servicing meetings and taking well drafted minutes
  • Developing and maintaining spreadsheets, databases and management information. Monitoring budgets and providing statistical reports for the Executive Team
  • Assisting with the planning and organisation of events such as Award Ceremonies
  • Other duties as required in order to assist with the smooth functioning of the team and wider university

Senior Executive Assistant Key Skills:

  • Executive Assistant experience with demonstrable managerial experience in higher education or other industry
  • Exceptional organisational skills for diary and meeting management. High attention to detail and good time management with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to confidently liaise with senior members of the team and other stakeholders
  • Highly proficient in IT skills, MS Office
